Know where your field team went, and pay travel by the kilometre
Sales, service and site staff start a session in the HRBloom tracking app for Android. HR sees the day's route and kilometres on the map, and HRBloom works out a travel allowance every night for approval.

How does it work?
HR switches on Geo Tracking for the employee.
The employee installs the tracking app (Android) and starts a session when field work begins.
HRBloom draws the route and counts the kilometres.
Every night at 11:30 pm, a travel allowance is created for the day: kilometres × your rate per km.
HR approves or rejects it. Approved amounts are paid with the next payroll.
What can HR see?

How accurate is it?
Phone GPS can be off by 30 to 60 metres, so a route may sometimes jump to a nearby road. Set a minimum and maximum km per reading to drop bad readings, and exclude a single reading from the total if needed.
What keeps it fair?
Days with no movement are skipped. A session still running at night is stopped and counted. Automatic allowance entries cannot be edited, only approved or rejected.

Is there an iPhone app for tracking?
Not today. The tracking app is for Android.
Is it the same as the employee app?
No. The tracking app is separate from the main HRBloom employee app.
Are office staff tracked?
No. Tracking is switched on only for the employees you choose.
Can HR change an automatic allowance?
No. HR approves or rejects it, so the record stays as calculated.
