HRBloom will not complete an employee's exit until assets are returned, loans are closed and nothing else is open. The final salary then goes through the normal payroll run.

How does an exit work?

The employee resigns from the portal, or HR raises an exit: resignation, termination, retirement, contract end or absconding. A letter can be attached.
- 2HR's decision
HR sees the person's tenure, salary and leave balance, then approves with a last working day or rejects with a remark.
- 3Final exit
Allowed only when all seven checks are clear.
What are the seven clearance checks?
All assets returned · no loan or advance outstanding · no loan request in progress · no approved leave after the last working day · no pending attendance correction · no projects still being managed · no reportees left without a manager.
How is the final salary paid?
Through the normal payroll run, after the final exit is complete.
What if someone comes back?
Use Rejoin on their exit record with the rejoining date. Their earlier service stays in their history.
How does asset management work?
- Keep a register of laptops, phones, vehicles, furniture and anything else, branch by branch.
- Track single items with their own code, or stock items such as 50 headsets.
- Record purchase date, warranty expiry, condition, images and documents, and get warranty and insurance due-date alerts.
- Assign and return items with a remark. Every handover is kept in the history.
- Add many assets at once from an import template.
- An asset someone still holds cannot be deleted.
- Employees see what they hold under My Assets.

Yes, while it is waiting for HR.
Can we add our own asset categories?
Yes.
Does payroll run for someone whose exit is not final?
No. Finish the final exit first.
